
As my 25th birthday approaches, I can’t help but think of where I am currently in my personal timeline, though to be honest, I think about where I am in life almost every day. The conversations I have with my friends are a mix now, of holding onto the optimism of years before and laughing at the youthful blindness, acknowledging the stations we are in life and how we thought our lives would’ve been. Yet our goals and dreams are still there, though matured.
This article has been resurfacing recently in my life, and it’s really resonating with my station.

As I approach the midpoint of my twenties, I am feeling even more that the time is ticking before the next wonderful stages of my life come to manifestation: stability, wealth, wisdom. Hopefully I’m not chasing a magic dragon.
I will be starting graduate school soon in Urban/City Planning. Currently, I’m making the difficult decision on which school to attend: San Diego or San Jose State, each with their strengths. Beyond that, I am wrapping up life as a young professional preparing for another lifestyle change. I hope this next transition will be smoother. The waters have foamed white for too long, I miss the crystal blue.
But I know I can handle the torrents.
